ROCKFORD, Ill. — Twenty years ago in Rockford, Ill., Bill Engvall sold out one of his first comedy shows at the Coronado Theater. The funny thing was they misspelled his name on the marquee. Twenty years later, he came back to shoot a special and whad’ya know? They misspelled it again!
A lot has changed between the two dates — the way standup comedy specials are released being one. Engvall’s latest special, Just Sell Him for Parts, is totally self-produced, and therefore full of material uniquely Bill.
