My Two Cents: Bill & Maz Jobrani chat about disappointing their parents
Welcome to the third episode of “My Two Cents” podcast with comedian Bill Engvall, the show designed to make you laugh and think! Scroll down to listen.
Special Guest Appearance: Maz Jobrani
In this third episode, Engvall is joined by Maz Jobrani, AKA the Persian Pink Panther. Having been in comedy for 18 years, Maz chatted with Bill about how that’s still baby years for a comedian — and what it’s like disappointing your parents by telling them you want to become one. Let’s just say in Maz’s case, it’s a special kind of disappointment if your parents hail from Iran and are expecting you to become a lawyer, a professor or “at least a mechanic.”
Make sure to also check out Maz’s new movie, Jimmy Vestvood: Amerikan Hero, and his great LA Times best-selling memoir, I’m not a terrorist, but I played one on TV.
