My Two Cents: Mark Chesnutt and the country lifestyle
Welcome to the 29th episode of “My Two Cents” with comedian Bill Engvall, the show designed to make you laugh and think! Scroll to the bottom to listen to this week’s episode.
Guest: Mark Chesnutt
After briefly mixing up the First and Second Amendment, Bill begins this episode by offering his two cents on free speech — and whether we’ve abused it as Americans. His thoughts? Not only does he think there needs to be consequences for burning the flag, he wonders whether the soon-to-be leader of the free world should really be on Twitter engaging with teenagers and internet trolls.
After that, Bill is joined by country music legend Mark Chesnutt. The two debate whether it’s OK to call Mark a legend or if that’s a bad thing (because it implies you’re old). They also talk about the country lifestyle and how calling someone a redneck is actually a badge of honor — because it means you’ve been out in the sun all day working hard for something.
