My Two Cents: A chat with renowned horror filmmaker Marcus Dunstan
Welcome to the 13th episode of “My Two Cents” with comedian Bill Engvall, the show designed to make you laugh and think! Scroll to the bottom to listen.
Special Guest Appearance: Marcus Dunstan
With Bill’s new horror film, “The Neighbor,” having been released this week, it was the perfect time to sit down with the film’s creator, Marcus Dunstan. Leading up to the conversation, Bill chats about his decision to make a foray into horror — one that wasn’t popular with all of his fans. But considering that as a kid, Bill decked out his room in glowing skulls and was obsessed with films like the original “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” in his formative years, getting a chance to star in a horror film was sort of a dream come true. The famed writer and director of several “Saw” sequels and the “Bone Collector” series, Marcus talked about what he sees in Bill as a horror star, and about how he’s so proud of being able to combine horror, suspense and action in this new movie, “The Neighbor.”
Make sure to check out Bill’s performance! You can rent or buy “The Neighbor” on iTunes, and the film is also available to view on streaming services like Vudu and Starz Digital as well as On Demand with your Starz cable subscription.
