My Two Cents: Seriously, what’s the big deal with fantasy football?

Bill Engvall | My Two Cents Podcast

Welcome to the 17th episode of “My Two Cents” with comedian Bill Engvall, the show designed to make you laugh and think! Scroll to the bottom to listen to this week’s episode.

Guest: Former NFL lineman & football analyst Ross Tucker

Not to go all Seinfeld on you, but what’s the big deal with fantasy football? This week, Bill admits that he has never played it, and marvels at folks like his podcast engineer, his son-in-law and this week’s podcast guest, Ross Tucker, a former NFL player himself, all of whom geek out over fantasy football every week — regardless of whether the NFL is in season or not. Ross, who went to Princeton and played seven seasons as an offensive lineman in the NFL, hosts a whopping four podcasts. And even he marvels that year after year, the fantasy football podcast he hosts just before the start of the NFL season — and right before everyone partakes in their fantasy football drafts — is always his most popular.

Aside from the chat with Ross, Bill rants about traffic and about getting voicemails from his parents — the same sort of voicemails he’s sure his own son now gets from him.
